This signpost polarises undergraduates - you're doing one thing or the other. The STEM revolution seeks a younger generation to engineer a sustainable future and DOMSTEM was invested in helping teachers and students bridge the gap.
Most of the devices we now rely upon just to get through the day include a microchip. There are hundreds of them in a late model car and many more in an aircraft.
We need more understanding of how it all works, but many of us are happy enough just to understand how to use such devices. But student need is ramping up and many educators feel left behind.
If that's not bad enough, the 3D world is creeping into many more areas of creativity. So which one do you want to learn?
